PEUGEOT 3008 Car Review
A strong allround crossover
A recent minor face-lift has made a subtle but definite improvement to the Peugeot 3008.
Visually the Peugeot 3008 is now a much more balanced looking model and together with one of the classiest interior cabins making it now a strong allround package in the mid-sized crossover sector.
The cabin really does have an executive feel, if this was a BMW everyone would be going crazy, because it mixes top quality materials with a very individual design, centred around a wrap around centre console.
It’s a really nice car to drive, agile around town and comfortable on long motorway runs, with the added advantage of a sweet six speed gearbox. You also get plenty of equipped and interior space is big on comfort if not the largest in the class.
I like both the petrol and diesel engine options, the 1.6 THP petrol offers genuine quick performance for a family people carrier, but I’d go for the near 65 mpg economy of the lively 1.6 litre diesel.
