VAUXHALL CORSA Car Review
Great to look at as well as practical and reliable
The Corsa is only topped by the Fiesta in the UK supermini popularity stakes, and with good reason.
Stylish, practical and reliable the Corsa has always kept bang up-to-date, ever since the original was launched over 20 years ago by super model Kate Moss.
Like Moss the Corsa has continued to re-invent itself over the years and is still one of the most striking supermini’s on the road.
Over the years the Corsa has made big strides on the inside as well, its also got useful interior space for a supermini, with good boot space.
The Corsa can’t match the Fiesta for driving appeal, but it’s ideal as a run-about and does most things pretty well. There’s a big selection of diesel and petrol engines, from a 1 litre petrol that returns 60 mpg to over 80 mpg for the super efficient 1.3 litre Ecoflex diesel.
And the Corsa has a good reputation for reliability, underlined by the fact that lots of driving school’s use them to teach learner drivers.
Another appeal of the Corsa has always been its competitive prices, and with the new model arrived, now is the perfect time to buy a nearly new model.
* Grown up supermini * Good choice of petrol and diesel engines * Reliable * Competively priced *
