DACIA DUSTER Car Review

A no frills compact 4 x 4

It might be a bit of a daft name but there is nothing daft about how good a value a Dacia Duster is.

Dacia used to be the Romanian state car firm but is now owned by Renault who have turned it into Europe’s leading bargain brand.

The brand only arrived in the UK two years ago and sales are thriving. Dacia is for motorists who want a bargain and strong value for money and the Duster is the perfect example as the most affordable new 4x4 on the market.

The Dacia Duster is a no frllls compact sized 4x4 that offers lots of space for four adults. The interior plastics may have a basic feel but they are well put together. The base Access version comes with wind up windows, no radio and steel wheels but the Laureate version is well equipped with air con, radio, alloy wheels, electric front windows and metallic paint.

Plus, the 1.5 litre Renault diesel engine is well proven and good for around 50 mpg, although you’ll definitely know your driving a diesel. The Duster comes in two and four-wheel drive so make sure to check before buying.

* Big on value * Lots of practicality for family buyers * Economical diesel *
