Motorpoint Birmingham celebrates third anniversary06 September 2016
Motorpoint Birmingham has celebrated its third anniversary
The UK’s leading car supermarket opened the five acre site on Lichfield Road in the city three years ago as part of its drive to expand its presence in the West Midlands.
Since then the branch has gone from strength to strength with John Hood and his 50-strong team attracting car buyers from the region as well as further afield looking to save on average over £7,000 on their next car.
And, to mark the occasion, Motorpoint hosted a special party for customers, past and present, with staff dressed as superheroes offering a free BBQ, face painting and a very special edition of the Great Motorpoint Bake Off in which customers voted for their favourite cake. Visitors also got an opportunity to test their cricketing skills on the Birmingham Bears Bowlathon. All funds raised on the day were donated to Motorpoint Birmingham’s official charity partner – the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
John Hood, General Manager of Motorpoint Birmingham, said: “I am extremely grateful to everyone who made the journey to Motorpoint and joined in the recent celebrations. It was lots of fun for all concerned plus, as an added bonus, we raised some money for our new charity partner – Birmingham Children’s Hospital.”
