The renewal is set to make our partnership the third longest-running continuous entertainment arena naming-rights relationship in UK history
Today we've announced a landmark five-year extension to our naming rights partnership with Motorpoint Arena Nottingham.
Having been known as the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham since 2015, the extension means our relationship with the 10,500-capacity venue will continue until at least 2035 – cementing us as the third longest-running continuous entertainment arena naming-rights relationship in UK history.
The Motorpoint Arena celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2025 and experienced a record-breaking 12 months, hosting over 150 events and welcoming one million visitors through its doors.
Our existing naming rights partnership was due to expire in 2030, but despite having four years remaining on the current agreement, we wanted to extend early and reaffirm our long-term commitment. As part of the renewal, we'll continue to play an active role in the visitor experience, maintaining a year-round presence at the venue that goes beyond traditional naming rights sponsorship.
Building on our shared commitment to enhancing the customer experience and delivering ongoing benefits for eventgoers and the wider Nottingham community, we're planning a range of exclusive competitions and premium live entertainment experiences. These will run alongside the Arena's programme of fan engagement activity designed to bring audiences closer to the events they love.
We'll also have regular presence on Bolero Square, showcasing a selection of nearly new vehicles and connecting arena audiences with their next car in a high-footfall, experience-led environment.
Discussing the importance of the partnership, Mark Carpenter, CEO of Motorpoint Group, said: “Having worked with the Arena for over a decade, I think a big reason our partnership has been so successful is that we are both dedicated to giving our customers the best experience possible.
“As the car buyer's champion, our focus is on making the car-buying process as seamless as possible. And for the Arena, it’s about creating standout moments for eventgoers. The Arena has really exciting things planned, and we’re delighted to be extending our relationship once again.”
Martin Ingham, CEO of Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, said: “Having just celebrated our 25th anniversary and our best-ever year, extending this partnership feels like the perfect way to start the next chapter. Motorpoint has been part of the Arena's story since 2015, helping us to create joyful experiences for the millions of visitors who have passed through our doors.
“This renewal is a real statement of confidence – in our venue, in our city, and in the future of live entertainment."
The extension comes as the Motorpoint Arena prepares for another major year of live entertainment, with upcoming events including Lily Allen, immersive art experiences Beyond Van Gogh and Beyond Monet, The Pussycat Dolls and Jack Whitehall.
