Managers from across Motorpoint will be taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise vital funds for the company's new charity partner, Scope

The group will aim to climb over 3,000 metres on Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours, a feat achieved by only 40% of challengers. The hike includes 13 hours of walking and 11 hours of driving for those who complete it within the 24 hour timeframe. *

The 24-mile climb is the first major fundraising activity since the start of our partnership with disability equality charity Scope. As the leading retailer of nearly new and used cars, we're aiming to raise funds and awareness to support Scope's work to achieve a society where all disabled people enjoy equality and fairness.

The team tackling the iconic challenge on the 19th August includes seven General Sales Managers alongside Operations Director Russell Louth and COO Kal Singh.

With a combined total of more than £3,500 already raised from their training efforts ahead of the challenge, we've pledged to match every pound raised against the final total.

Communications and Engagement Partner at Motorpoint, Becky Greensmith, said of the fundraiser: "We're incredibly proud of our Motorpoint team for taking on this challenge in support of Scope. The enthusiasm shown by the team has been fantastic, with a huge amount of training having already taken place.  The climb is a great example of our team members coming together and raising important funds and awareness for an incredible cause.”

Discussing the new partnership with Motorpoint, Sammi Skelding, Scope’s Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy, said: “A huge thank you to everyone at Motorpoint who is taking on the Three Peaks Challenge this August in support of Scope. We're proud to have Motorpoint alongside us as we work towards an equal future with disabled people. Every pound raised will help fund Scope's services and make a real difference to disabled people and their families across the UK. We can't wait to cheer the team on throughout the challenge and look forward to seeing how Motorpoint continues to champion disability inclusion through our partnership.”
