Motorpoint Leeds is sponsoring youth sports teams across the city – this is how to apply

We're really excited to be expanding our presence in West Yorkshire. Once open, Motorpoint Leeds will have almost 300 cars on its pitch, all available to drive away the same day. 

To celebrate the opening of our new Leeds store on July 10th, we want to sponsor 22 youth sports teams.

We're inviting all under-16s sports teams across Leeds and the surrounding areas to apply. Successful teams will receive £1,000 worth of sponsorship for new kits, equipment and competition fees.

Explaining why we want to support community-led sports initiatives in Leeds, Dan Stevens, General Sales Manager at Motorpoint Leeds, said: “When it came to opening our new Leeds store, we wanted to find a really special way to celebrate. 

"We know how important access to sports is for young people, and that’s why we’re so happy to be able to mark the opening of our 22^nd store by sponsoring 22 youth sports teams across the city.” 

Applications will close on Friday 3^rd July 2026.

• Team must be an under-16s sports team based in and around Leeds  
• Applications should be on behalf of an individual team  
• Motorpoint would need to be the main kit sponsor for the team
