Why buy a used MG?

Buy a used MG and discover why this Chinese-owned brand has recently become synonymous with affordable quality. MG offers an impressive range of vehicles that deliver premium features without the premium price tag, making them perfect for savvy buyers seeking their next car.

The range of MG cars for sale stretches all the way from compact city cars to spacious SUVs, with both traditional petrol engines and electric powertrains on offer. Every MG comes with an outstanding seven-year warranty from new, meaning used MG cars at Motorpoint still offer many years of manufacturer coverage.

You'll find advanced technology such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as standard across the range, plus comprehensive safety equipment and modern styling that rivals more expensive competitors. Whether you're after efficient running costs, practical space, or simply great value for money, buying a used MG ticks all the right boxes.

Owning an MG

Used MG ownership brings together affordability, reliability, and surprisingly low running costs. The brand's focus on efficiency means its hybrid and electric models deliver excellent economy figures, helping keep your monthly fuel or charging costs manageable.

MG's reputation for dependability has improved significantly with recent models, and the comprehensive warranty coverage means any unexpected issues are likely to be covered. Electric MG models offer minimal servicing requirements and the potential for very low running costs if you can charge at home

The brand's commitment to value extends beyond the initial purchase price. Used MG cars typically hold their value well, while parts and servicing costs remain competitive compared to premium rivals. Insurance groups are generally reasonable across the range, making MG an excellent choice for cost-conscious drivers.
