Used midsize SUVs for sale

Midsize SUVs are Goldilocks cars for many buyers. They’re not too big to be unwieldy through city streets, but not too small to be impractical. SUVs such as the Kia Sportage, Ford Kuga and Nissan Qashqai are ideal if you’ve outgrown a hatchback like a Ford Focus or Volkswagen Golf, and their high driving positions give you a superb view of the road ahead. You’re sure to find the used midsize SUV for you at Motorpoint – we have plenty for sale from all your favourite brands. Once you’ve found the one, you can choose to buy or finance, and collect it from your nearest Motorpoint store.

Medium SUV buying guide

Every month, the list of the UK’s best-selling cars is full of midsize SUVs. And it’s easy to see why. You get tough 4x4 styling, a useful and versatile body type, plenty of space, and reasonable running costs that aren’t drastically above an equivalent hatchback or saloon.

For family buyers, the appeal of midsize SUVs is huge. These are cars that offer a feeling of safety and security, and a big boot for a bulky pram and all the clutter that you need to bring along. And an SUV’s ride height makes it easy to put kids into their seats without bending down and hurting your back.

You’ll find plenty of choice in this part of the market – every fuel type, the option of four-wheel drive, manual and automatic gearboxes and a range of prices, from Vauxhall to Volvo. Some of the best used midsize SUVs include the Hyundai Tucson, Peugeot 3008 and Volkswagen Tiguan.
