Popular MG3 trims for sale at Motorpoint
There are two trims for you to pick from, SE and Trophy, which in older models were known as Excite and Exclusive:
- SE: Entry-level trim featuring air conditioning, sat-nav, and a touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Trophy: Adds a 360-degree camera, heated front seats and steering wheel, leather-effect upholstery, LED projector headlights and tinted rear windows
Owning an MG3
Used MG3 cars offer low running costs and impressive fuel economy. The supportive seats ensure reasonably comfortable long journeys for such a small car, while the surprisingly spacious interior accommodates adults better than many similarly-priced city cars.
The 293-litre boot space matches competitors like the Toyota Yaris, making it practical for daily use, if not great for family life. Buy a used MG3 and enjoy reliable performance with minimal maintenance concerns. Insurance costs remain competitive, while parts availability ensures affordable servicing. The driving experience offers composed handling with a comfortable ride quality that suits both city driving and longer motorway journeys.

Other models to consider
The MG3 sits in an emptier supermini class than we would’ve had a few years ago. Its main rivals are the fun-to-drive Ford Fiesta, the popular Vauxhall Corsa, hybrid Toyota Yaris and posh-feeling VW Polo.
