Motorpoint turns up the heat with charity fire walk in Castleford03 February 2017
Motorpoint will be turning up the heat later this month when it’s hosts a special charity firewalk in West Yorkshire
The UK’s leading car supermarket, which has a branch minutes from J32 of the M62 in Castleford, has teamed up with the Prince of Wales Hospice to hold the one off event on Friday, February 10 from 6pm onwards at its five acre site on Whistler Drive.
The event involves participants from across the Five Towns area summon up the courage to walk across burning hot embers which at their height can burn at 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit. However, before releasing their inner daredevil, participants will receive a full training and motivational seminar from UK Firewalk, who are managing the firewalk, to ensure everyone is suitably fired up.
James Faulkner, General Manager at Motorpoint Castleford, said: “We’re delighted to have teamed up with the Prince of Wales Hospice to host the event and look forward to welcoming everyone to the UK’s leading independent car retailer for what promises to be a night to remember.”
Katy Lee, Events and Community Fundraising Officer at the Prince of Wales Hospice, added: “We’re extremely grateful to Motorpoint for supporting our fundraiser by hosting the first event of its type in Castleford.”
To take part in the event simply register online at www.pwh.org.uk/events. Registration costs £25.
