Mercedes CLA estate FAQs

The Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake's boot measures in at 505 litres. That's pretty good in isolation and should be just large enough for a family's holiday luggage or a small dog. When you compare it to some more traditional estate cars, however, it's not quite as large and the space isn't as boxy, so might not be the best choice if you often max-out your cargo area.

The CLA Shooting Brake has the exact same cabin design as the CLA Coupe. That's a very good thing because it's easily among the car's most impressive aspects. Genuine leather, metal and wood trim is used extensively to make sure everything you touch feels luxurious, and the design is both elegant and ergonomic.

As for space, the CLA Shooting Brake is reasonably good. Those in the front will have no complaints sat in sculpted leather seats, and passengers in the back have enough head and legroom to get comfy, if not quite enough to really stretch out. Boot space is, again, pretty good but not class leading. There's 505 litres of space but most boxier estates are a bit bigger and more square in shape.
