Why buy a used Hyundai i20?
The i20 is Hyundai's entrant to the popular supermini class, competing with incumbents like the Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen Polo. It makes a good case for itself with a packed equipment list and a grown-up, relaxed driving experience. You probably won't want to carry tall adults around all day in the i20 but it's still one of the most spacious options in this class, with more than enough space to handle a big weekly shop.

SE Connect gets alloy wheels, automatic emergency braking, rear parking sensors, a reversing camera and auto high beams, plus Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Sporty N Line models add larger alloy wheels, a sporty-looking body kit, tinted rear windows and a black contrast colour roof. You also get climate control, ambient interior lighting, LED brakelights and a larger infotainment screen.
Premium forgoes N Line's sporty body kit but adds heated front seats and a heated steering wheel.
Ultimate gains blind-spot monitoring, an upgraded Bose stereo, enhanced automatic braking with junction function, keyless entry and a wireless phone charging pad.
Owning a used Hyundai i20
Hyundai’s cabins can now compete toe-to-toe with the best in this class. Material quality is high with no squeaks or rattles, and the design is neat and tidy with the infotainment screen prominently featured atop the dashboard. You still get easy-to-use physical buttons for the climate control, too. As a small car, you can’t expect the i20 to have van-like space, but it's still impressively practical for this class, with passenger room for four full-size adults and boot space that's towards the top end of the class.
