Motorpoint is set to create 30 new jobs with the opening of its latest store in Manchester in early October.
The UK’s leading independent car retailer is busy transforming the former LSH Mercedes Benz dealership close to the Etihad Stadium as part of its ongoing nationwide expansion programme.
The new roles, for which Motorpoint has already begun actively recruiting, will cover areas such as Customer Service, Management, Sales and Vehicle Preparation.
The pending arrival of Motorpoint in Manchester follows the news that Motorpoint has been named the Best Company to Work For in the automotive sector, beating the likes of Porsche and Toyota in the process. It was also recently awarded 3 Star Best Companies for its world-class levels of employee engagement.
Motorpoint, which has an established network of stores throughout England, Scotland and Wales, is scheduled to formally reveal its newest site to the public on Friday, October 1 following a multi-million-pound investment in the two-and-a-half-acre premises on Ashton Old Road.
The store, which will be led by Jordan Dean, Head of Retail Operations for the North West, will stock 200 low mileage, nearly new cars and light commercial vehicles from 30 different manufacturers.
