Buy a new vehicle and have it delivered straight to your door with our home delivery service.

Whether you purchase your vehicle in-store, or you complete the entire process online or over the phone, home delivery from Motorpoint provides the flexibility of having your vehicle delivered at a time convenient to you. Delivery slots are available Monday-Friday, between 10am and 5pm.

We offer home delivery free of charge from your nearest store for all mainland UK addresses (an internal store transfer fee may apply and commercial vehicles carry a £149 delivery fee). This, along with our 14-day money back guarantee, means you can buy with complete peace of mind.

How does home delivery work?

Home delivery is currently available Monday to Friday, with appointment slots between 10am and 5pm.

Once you’ve found the vehicle you want to buy and completed your order with one of our Sales team members, our Feefo Platinum award-winning Customer Service team will be in contact to arrange a delivery date and explain the process in detail.

You can complete all your online paperwork through our collections portal and then your vehicle will be delivered by a member of the Motorpoint delivery team. They will just handover the keys so you can start enjoying your new vehicle.

Can I speak to someone about my home delivery?

What do I need to provide when I arrange home delivery?

You'll need to upload your driving licence to our online portal as proof of your ID and address. The address on your licence must match the address you gave when you placed your order. You will also need your ID when your vehicle is delivered.

When do I need to have my insurance in place?

You can take advantage of our free 3-day insurance cover, offered in partnership with Tempcover. This can only be arranged on the day of your delivery and needs to be set up before you drive your vehicle. You'll then have time to shop around and get the best quote for your vehicle. You'll receive details of how to activate your cover by email shortly before your delivery. You can also activate your policy here.

*Please note, you need to be aged between 21-75 to be eligible for 3-day insurance cover. Other exclusions may also apply.

How do I tax my vehicle?

To tax your vehicle, you'll need to have your licence plate number and 12-digit V5 number. We will send you your V5 number the day before your delivery. You can then tax your vehicle on the DVLA website.

How can I see any imperfections on a vehicle before it’s delivered?

We only sell nearly new vehicles but they are all prepped to the Motorpoint Standard so any chips, scratches and dents are treated by our team of experts before the vehicle goes on sale.

Can I view the vehicle before delivery?

You can view vehicles at any of our stores. We advise you to call before making the journey to check the vehicle will be available. You'll also be able to take a test drive.

What should I do if my vehicle has imperfections on delivery?

If you have any issues with the vehicle on delivery, you can speak to your delivery driver, get in touch with the team on homedelivery@motorpoint.co.uk or call 01332 921 009. You have the right to return your vehicle for any reason within 14 days and we will collect it for free for the first 7 days.

Can I test drive the vehicle if I get home delivery?

You can’t test drive the vehicle but you do have up to 14 days to get to know your new vehicle and make sure it is the right one for you. If you decide it isn’t quite right, you have 14 days in which to return it to us for a full refund. We’ll even collect your vehicle free of charge up to 7 days after your delivery.

Can I collect my vehicle instead?

Yes. If you change your mind, you can choose to pick up your vehicle from any of our stores with contactless collection.

Can I buy a vehicle for someone else?

Unfortunately not, as the delivery address needs to match the billing address of the person buying the vehicle. However, once you own the vehicle, you can transfer the V5 to anyone you want.

How are you keeping us safe?

  2. Our drivers wearing protective equipment at all times during the delivery process
  3. The vehicle being disinfected by the driver prior to being handed over
