Why choose Contactless Collection?

Although we are unable to fully open our sites to customers, government guidance has given us the opportunity to open for contactless collections in England and Wales. We can now offer customers the choice of home delivery or collection from branch for their new car.

We have modified our existing collections process to ensure the safety of everyone on site, so if you would like to collect your car rather than have it delivered, you can do so with absolute peace of mind. Our new online booking management portal for customers means that all the required paperwork and payments can be completed online prior to visiting the branch, making the time spent on site as short as possible and eliminating any need for contact between our team members and our customers.

How does Contactless Collection work?

Once you have completed your order and a collection slot has been booked for you, the process for collecting your car is very simple:

  1. Arrive on time for your allocated collections slot
  2. Follow the signage directing you to the collections area
  3. One of our team members will be there to greet you and direct you to your allocated parking spot
  4. You can then view your car and even take it for a solo test-drive
  5. Once you are ready to drive the car away we will ask you to complete the handover process on a tablet which we will leave with you, along with hand sanitiser and sanitising wipes

How am I kept safe during the collections process?

We have introduced new procedures into our collection process to help ensure the safety of everyone on site:

  • Your car will receive a deep sanitising clean before being parked in the allocated collections spot
  • All our vehicle preparation teams wear protective equipment throughout the process, including gloves and facemasks
  • Our strict appointment only policy restricts and manages the number of people on site at any given time
  • All people on site must adhere to the standard 2m social distancing policy
  • Sanitiser stations are available at all branches for customers and team members to sanitise their hands or wipe down any surfaces they wish to

Contactless Collections FAQs

Do I need to book a solo test drive?

No, you can simply arrange that on site with the team member serving you.

Can I bring other people with me when collecting the car?

We would strongly advise that you come alone when collecting your car, unless it is absolutely necessary that you have someone with you, such as someone to drop you off.

Can I view any other cars whilst on site?

No, the only vehicles accessible will be those being collected by customers that day. The showrooms and the forecourts will all be closed and inaccessible.

Will I be able to get food and drinks whilst collecting my car?

Unfortunately we have had to close our cafes for the time being, and no other food or drink preparation is currently possible on site.
