Contactless Collection

Why choose Contactless Collection

We have modified our existing collections process to ensure the safety of everyone on site, so if you would like to collect your car rather than have it delivered, you can do so with absolute peace of mind. Our new online booking management portal for customers means that all the required paperwork and payments can be completed online prior to visiting the branch, making the time spent on site as short as possible and eliminating any need for contact between our team members and our customers.

How does Contactless Collection work?

Once you have completed your order and a collection slot has been booked for you, the process for collecting your car is very simple:

  1. Arrive on time for your allocated collections slot.
  2. Follow the signage directing you to the collections area
  3. One of our team members will be there to greet you and direct you to your allocated parking spot
  4. Once you are ready to drive the car away we will ask you to complete the handover process on a tablet which we will leave with you, along with hand sanitiser and sanitising wipes

If you wish to test drive the car before completing the collection, we are currently offering unaccompanied test drives.

How am I kept safe during the collections process?

We have introduced new procedures into our collection process to help ensure the safety of everyone on site:

  • Your car will receive a deep sanitising clean before being parked in the allocated collections spot
  • All our vehicle preparation teams wear protective equipment throughout the process, including gloves and face masks
  • All people on site must adhere to the standard 2m social distancing policy
  • Sanitiser stations are available at all branches for customers and team members to sanitise their hands or wipe down any surfaces they wish to

If you have any specific questions about the process then please refer to our frequently asked questions below, or call our Customer Care team on 01332 426 351.

Please note we are currently unable to offer test drives in line with current Government guidance.

Can I bring other people with me when collecting the car?

You are welcome to bring other people, but please ensure everyone observes social distancing during your visit.

Can I view any other cars whilst on site?

Our indoor showrooms remain closed to the public until further notice, however, our team will do their best to accommodate you should you be unhappy with the vehicle you currently have reserved.

Will I be able to get food and drink whilst collecting my car?

All of our facilities are open as normal at our remaining branches but please be advised that we are only able to offer a takeaway service.

When do I need to have my car insurance in place?

You can take advantage of our 5-day insurance cover, provided in partnership with Lloyd Latchford. For just £20 you can start driving straight away. This can only be arranged on the day of your delivery and needs to be set up before you drive your car. You'll then have time to shop around and get the best quote for your car. You'll receive details of how to activate your cover by email shortly before your delivery. You can also activate your policy here.

*Please note, you need to be aged between 21-75 to be eligible for 3-day insurance cover. Other exclusions may also apply
