Mercedes C-Class saloon FAQs

The C-Class saloon measures in a little less than 4.7 metres long. That's on par with key rivals like the BMW 3 Series and Audi A4.

As a result, it's not the easiest car to squeeze into a tight parking space, but that job is at least made easier by the standard-fit parking sensors.

The C-Class saloon has a really posh cabin that, for many, will be its single strongest selling point. Leather, metal and wood trim is widely used to avoid a plasticky feel, and plenty of effort has been put into the styling, making the interior feel like a first-class lounge.

There's lots of space in the two front and two outer rear seats, with generous head and legroom, and plenty of light thanks to the big side windows. Squeezing three across the back row will lead to bumped elbows, however, so this is best saved for short trips. The boot is spacious enough for most day-to-day jobs but consider the Mercedes C-Class Estate if you need more cargo storage.
