What’s even more confusing is that Honda’s eCVT setup doesn’t use a gearbox at all, instead relying on the electric motor with the petrol engine acting as a generator.

Among the inclusions are traffic-sign recognition, hill-start assist, lane-keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking and a system that contacts the emergency services if you have a crash. It’s usually fitted on most, if not all, modern Honda models.
