The electric Fiat 500 – also called the 500e – is a totally different car to the petrol version. It's 10cm longer, but it's still a dinky city car with back seats you'll only want to use for shopping. It's available with two battery sizes: 42kWh cars with the 118hp motor can travel about 200 miles on a charge, while cars with the smaller 24kWh battery and less powerful 95hp motor can manage about 118 miles.
