Why buy a BMW M2 Competition?

Competition was the sole trim level offered on the tyre-shredding BMW M2 towards the end of its lifecycle. Equipment levels are generous as you'd expect from an expensive car such as this, with leather upholstery, heated front sports seats, all-round parking sensors, climate control and cruise control all standard. However, the main upgrades are under the body work. Competition cars now use a version of the 3.0-litre turbo six-cylinder engine from the more powerful M3, along with a stiffer chassis with upgraded suspension and brakes for fearsome on-track performance.
