Motorpoint is returning to the small screen this week with a heavyweight national TV campaign

The UK’s largest independent car retailer, which has a network of branches throughout England, Scotland and Wales, will be back on air from August 28 onwards as  part of a wider through-the-line campaign to promote its new ‘Your Car, Your Way’ message.

The ‘Your Car, Your Way’ proposition focuses on the different ways in which people can now find, choose, buy and drive away their vehicle from Motorpoint. This includes its Home Delivery, Reserve and Collect and Same Day Driveaway, services, all supported by the company’s dedicated Online Collections Portal, which together are helping to make car buying as easy as possible for customers wherever they may be located in the UK.

Filmed on location in the North West as well as the company’s newest site in Swansea, the light-hearted advert, which features actors John Draycott, Ali Mylon and Dane Fox, follows John trying to explain to his next door neighbour Danny how he purchased a new car from Motorpoint while his wife Sally fusses over Ralphie, their Bichon Frise.

The ‘Your Car, Your Way’ theme will also run through national radio adverts, supported by regional  variations, as well as paid digital channels to help spread the message as far as possible. Motorpoint is also giving customers an opportunity next month to ‘Win a Year’s Worth of Free Fuel’ from Motorpoint via social media.

Hayden Vokes, Marketing Director at Motorpoint, explained: “We are delighted to be launching our new ‘Your Car, Your Way’ campaign this week. We continued to innovate at pace during lockdown, and as a result Motorpoint has come out of that period stronger than ever with a proposition for our customers which is second to none in the market.

“Whether it’s our contactless Reserve and Collect option, free Home Delivery service or our improved online customer experience, our new campaign helps to drive home the message about how effortless it is to find, choose and buy a low mileage, nearly new car from Motorpoint.”

Motorpoint, which was recently awarded Platinum status by Feefo for its customer service, currently has thousands of low mileage, nearly new cars and light commercial vehicles available from over 30 different manufacturers. Every vehicle comes with the balance of manufacturer’s warranty backed by the Motorpoint Price Promise. This means Motorpoint will refund the difference to any customer within seven days of their order if they find the same car cheaper from a competitor. As an added bonus, it will also give the customer £50 worth of Amazon vouchers to spend.

Motorpoint has also made contactless collection standard at all of its branches in the wake of COVID-19. This facility allows customers to adhere to the latest social distancing guidelines and choose, buy and drive away without any physical contact with a member of staff. This includes Motorpoint’s Unaccompanied Test Drive offering where customers can test drive their chosen vehicle without someone from Motorpoint being present in the car.
