Motorpoint promises fun day for families this weekend in Peterborough

23 August 2018 Press Release

Motorpoint is hosting a special Family Fun Day in aid of charity this Saturday in Peterborough.

We are inviting everyone to an action-packed day for visitors on our five-acre Peterborough branch between 10am – 4pm on Saturday 25th August. You can expect giant inflatables, a FootPool table to test your footballing skills, as well as children’s entertainers and a BBQ. Better yet, during the day there will be visits from Peter Burrow, the Peterborough United mascot and Mick the Skip, the Mick George mascot. You could also win family tickets to the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham. Be in with a chance to see Cirque Du Soleil and Disney on Ice just by entering our Tombola.

All proceeds from the day will be donated to the site’s long-standing charitable partner, the Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice. The Cambridgeshire branch has supported the Hospice since 2017 and they are thrilled to be holding another event to raise funds for the worthy cause.

General Manager of Motorpoint Peterborough, Tom Stanton, spoke for the team. “We are looking forward to meeting customers old and new this weekend at our Family Fun Day. It promises to be lots of fun, with plenty of activities to entertain people throughout the day.”

Motorpoint Peterborough stocks over 500 cars on site from 30 different manufacturers. Every car is available to choose, buy and drive away on the same day.  What’s more, they all come with less than 25,000 miles and the balance of the manufacturer’s warranty. You browse our selection by visiting the UK’s largest independent car retailer on Edgerley Drain Road in Peterborough. Get in touch with our contact centre to find out more or check out one of our other 11 branches across the country.
