Motorpoint, the UK’s leading independent retailer of nearly new cars and vans, is sponsoring an afternoon tea event hosted by The Prince of Wales Hospice in celebration of Mother’s Day.
Mothers can enjoy a day of treats including an afternoon tea and a bath bomb making class on Sunday 19th March at the Hospitality Suite, in The Millennium Stadium, Featherstone, 12pm – 3pm.
The Prince of Wales Hospice is Motorpoint Castleford’s charity partnership. The Hospice provides specialist care for adults with a terminal diagnosis. The hospice aims to focus on the patients by supporting them and their loved ones around them.
Motorpoint's Sponsorship, Partnership & Charity Manager, Jennie Sim said: "We are delighted to be the headline sponsor for The Prince of Wales Hospice Mother's Day event this year.
“It is a truly worthy cause and are delighted to be able to recognise the amazing care and support provided by the hospice for patients and families alike.
“As well as being the headline sponsor, we were pleased to be able to donate additional funds to provide a traditional afternoon tea for the Hospice's patients and their loved ones”
Adrian Greenwood, Fundraising Manager at The Prince of Wales Hospice said: “Having heard what we are trying to achieve, Motorpoint came on board as the main sponsor of the event. Their generosity didn’t stop there, they have kindly donated money for us to purchase 13 afternoon teas, which is the same number of patients we can have in the Hospice at any one time.
“Motorpoint have supported the Hospice for some time now, and we cannot thank Jennie and the team enough for all they have done in helping us to create these meaningful memories. On behalf of The Prince of Wales Hospice, thank you Motorpoint!”
Tickets are available now and priced at £20 for adults and £15 for Under 12s - treat your mother this Mother’s Day.
