FIAT PANDA Car Review
The no nonsense small car with bags of practicality
The Fiat Panda seems to have be around for years and unlike the animal this one is definitely not an endangered species with millions on the road.
It delivers exactly what it says on the tin, a no nonsense small car with bags of practicality and its own quirky style. The practicality is added to with five doors and decent interior space for up to five passengers, and boot space is 225 litres, increasing to a useful 870 litres with the rear seats down.
Plus, there’s a choice of 0.9 and 1.2 litre petrol and 1.3 litre diesel, but the best all-rounder is the 1.2 that delivers just over 54 mpg.
My only gripe with the Fiat Panda is the cheap feel to the interior plastics and trim, which for me is where it fails to match the improvements made by its rivals. Overall the Fiat Panda remains a good small car workhorse for the family buyer more interested in practicality than posing.
* Quirky styling * Good all-round practicality * Best Buy - 1.2 litre petrol *
