BMW 3 SERIES Car Review
A lot of car for your money!
The 3 Series is consistently BMW’s sales super star - it sells almost as many cars a year as the entire Land Rover line-up!
It now regularly outsells mainstream models like the Ford Mondeo and is in the UK’s top ten sellers every month - with over 30,000 sales already this year, and over 350,000 worldwide.
You might think there is a risk of the BMW 3 Series losing its premium appeal for being to common a site on the roads, but buyers in the UK and around the world can’t get enough.
There are a number of reasons, firstly the car has set the benchmark for small executive cars, that so far no-one the best of Audi and Mercedes haven’t matched. It’s a brilliant combination of BMW quality and top driving capabilities that remain the best in its class.
BMW don’t mess around with the 3 Series, they know buyers love the car so they simply tweak the popular design and keep improving the technology and performance. Not only do you get a top driving car but the engines, particularly the diesel’s deliver lively performance and seriously good economy. I’d go for the 320d which is good for 60 to mid 60s mpg.
Although the BMW 1 and 2 Series are good cars, the 3 Series is really the first step on the BMW ladder for serious buyers. See it in your mirror and you can mistake it for a 5 Series, and in truth unless you need the extra rear seat space it drives better and will save you a small fortune in price.
* A lot of car for your money and the clout of the BMW badge. * You will always find a buyer when it comes to selling. * Best buy- 320 diesel is the perfect combination of performance and economy.
