Motorpoint has teamed up with Wire and Wish FM to help wake up the North West over the next few months

“We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Wire and Wish FM. We’re regular listeners and can’t wait to bring the partnership to life over the next few months”

The UK’s leading independent car retailer, which is based on Derby Road in Widnes, has taken over the sponsorship of the popular breakfast shows which cover the Runcorn, St Helens, Widnes and Warrington areas among others. Hosts Helen Wakefield and Chris Milow attract over 60,000 listeners between them every week on their respective stations. Plus, as part of its support, Motorpoint will be teaming up with the presenters to give listeners a change to win a host of goodies throughout July and August.

Kevin Cartwright, General Manager of Motorpoint Widnes, explained: “We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Wire and Wish FM. We’re regular listeners and can’t wait to bring the partnership to life over the next few months as part of our drive to make ‘car buying easy’ for drivers in the North West of England.”

Simon Mallinson, Sales Director at Wire and Wish FM, added: “We are really excited to partner with Motorpoint. We’ve worked with Kevin and the team in Widnes for the last couple of years on different things and we’re looking forward to doing bigger things with them in the next few months as we wake up the North West together.”

Motorpoint currently has over 5,000 low mileage, nearly new cars and light commercial vehicles available from over 30 different manufacturers. Every vehicle comes with the balance of manufacturer’s warranty backed by the Motorpoint Price Promise. This means Motorpoint will refund the difference to any customer within seven days of their order if they find the same car cheaper from a competitor. As an added bonus, it will also give the customer £50 worth of Amazon vouchers to spend.

Plus, as part of its COVID-19 safeguarding process, customers can test drive cars unaccompanied while all vehicle collections are contactless and completed in specially designated areas to guarantee social distancing at all times. Motorpoint is also continuing to operate its hugely popular home delivery service covering the whole of the UK mainland for those customers who would prefer not to visit the branch, backed by its 14 day hassle free, money back guarantee.
