Not at all pushy, helpful and quickly sold us a car the same day.

All in all was very good. Would have preferred to have dealt with the person we spoke to on the phone. The young lady was very efficient though. Still would prefer to have paperwork as all done on computer. Us older people do feel more reassured seeing everything in print. But love the car so thank you for it.

Quick and easy process.

Have purchased from both Motorpoint Derby and Motorpoint Birmingham, and both times it was quick simple and straightforward. If you're looking to purchase a car with none of the usual faff, then Motorpoint is the place to go.

I placed a holding deposit/admin fee of £149.00 on the car I wanted to purchase one week before the date scheduled to view and complete the purchase.  On arriving at Mororpoint Derby with My Mother, some 1.5 hours travel from home, we were greeted very politely by“Georgia Crofts’ who left us to view the car etc.  However, we immediately noticed the bonnet was badly aligned and out of shape and the driver’s door panel was also out of line!  On starting the car the engine rattled and made an alarming noise, although this did settle after about 15 minutes. A colleague of Georgia’s asked if we needed help and we explained the issues on the car.  The car was taken to the workshop for inspection and fix.  Some 45 minutes later we were told by another man the car needed parts to fix the bonnet which would take at least a week to order.  Bearing in mind I had sold my car privately the day before, and needed a car for work the following day, I felt extremely stressed and upset. We were advised to look for another car at the centre. We were not helped in any way to do this, it was left to us to research and find! We found another car, same model/year/colour etc but it was above my budget ( £300 exceeding budget). It was arranged for the alternative car to be viewed which took a further 45 minutes to find and sort.  Meanwhile we were asked to call the reservation line to amend the reservation booking.  I can say Dean Pownall was extremely kind on the phone and swapped by order for me. We were angry we had to do this, we felt this should have been done by Motorpoint staff! The new/alternative car was perfect, however too expensive.  We asked to speak to the centre Manager called ‘ Jason Barks’ to discuss options.  We were approached very curtly by him. I explained my disappointment and upset with the reserved car and if there was any discount available on the new car. ‘Jason Barks’was extremely no rude, patronising and unhelpful, especially to my Mother, and blatantly said NO! His only option for me was to wait for the broken car to be fixed!  Once again I explained I needed a car that day due to commuting to work etc.  He gave no helpful response.  My mother asked if he could at least refund the admin/reservation fee to help me with the extra cost of the new car, which I could not afford.  He again blatantly said NO!  His only offer was some petrol in the tank to compensate for the admin fee I was about to incur for changes to the  insurance I had arranged previously.  At this point we just wanted to go home so reluctantly  agreed these terms of sale.  He walked away without thanking us or apologising for the inconvenience and extra costs incurred to me. We then had to endure  a further 30 minute wait for the new car to be checked, passed  and valeted and released for sale.  We were at Motorpoint Derby for over 3 very stressful hours!  Whilst we cannot fault the service provided by ‘Georgia Crofts, the service received by the centre Manager ‘Jason Barks’ was frankly appalling.  For your information, I will be leaving this feedback on Trust Pilot.
