COVID-19 Update

A Message from Mark Carpenter CEO, Motorpoint

Like all responsible businesses, we have been monitoring and reacting to the advice of the Government on how best to ensure the well-being and safety of our customers and teams during these unprecedented times.

We continue to follow that advice and do what is right in order to keep everyone in our society safe. We have therefore temporarily closed all 13 of our branches from Tuesday 24th March. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for us to make, but it has been made easier knowing that it is absolutely the right one.

Customers who have outstanding orders with us and are waiting to collect their new car will be contacted by our customer care team as a matter of urgency to discuss next steps.

The Motorpoint website will remain live, and continue to show our full range of vehicles. Therefore, should any of our customers wish to still search for a new car they can do so. They will also be able to reserve that car indefinitely and to the point at which we are able to once again open our branches and arrange a convenient time for the car to be collected.

If you have an outstanding order with us and are waiting to collect your new car, our customer care team will be in touch with you very shortly to answer any questions you have.

I would like to say a huge thank you to all the teams who have worked tirelessly up until this point to keep our branches open.

We will of course continue to monitor the situation and government advice closely, and will be opening our doors again as soon as we are confident it is safe to do so. Any updates as to when that might be will be first communicated to customers through our social media channels, so please keep an eye on those for news.

When the time comes to reopen we very much look forward to welcoming you back. Until that point, take every care to stay safe and well.
