The Role

As receptionist you are a vital part of the Motorpoint customer experience. You will be the first and often last face our customers see during their buying experience, this means you can ensure our customers leave with a smile every time.

Offering support to all departments on site, your role will be varied and heavily involved in the day to day operations of this busy Motorpoint site.

You will be a calm and confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner; ideal applicants will have previous reception or telephone based experience. Strong IT skills and the ability to manage a variety of administration processes are also qualities the successful applicant will hold.• Dealing with all in bound phone enquires to the site.

Duties include:
• Qualifying all customer needs on arrival at site, ensuring their queries are dealt with quickly and effectively by the relevant team member.
• Contacting relevant parties internally to ensure enquires are processed correctly. 
• Offering a friendly and professional service to anyone who comes in to contact with Motorpoint both face to face and over the phone.
• Being presentable, always wearing the Motorpoint uniform and ensuring you engage customers with a smile.
• Advocating Motorpoints’ core values
• Communicating effectively with all customers and team members, ensuring information is passed to the right parties in a timely and efficient manner.

The Person

• Proven track record in a customer service or customer facing environment
• Strong IT skills
• Confident and articulate communicator both face to face and over the phone
• Able to build rapport quickly, putting customers at ease.
• Not afraid to speak up and use of the internal tannoy.   
• Excellent listening skills and strong empathy.
• Calm and rationale approach to problems, able to diffuse potentially volatile situations
• Approachable and always willing to offer assistance
• Excellent attention to detail 
• Follows procedure and adheres to processes strictly
• Good team player
