Location: Glasgow
Hours: 40 Wednesday-Sunday each week
Salary: £17,160 p/a

The Role

Reporting to the Business Support Manager, this role involves data entry and other general administration tasks, therefore you will need to posses good IT skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and have experience of working accurately whilst under pressure.

  • Maintain documents accurately
  • Control, distribution and generation of vehicle documentation
  • Partake in scheduled audits as required
  • Develop a broad understanding of Motorpoint’ functions in order to better understand the interactions within the business
  • Build, develop and sustain relationships with internal/ external stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvements
  • Carry out day- to- day administration duties

The Person

  • Ideally a proven track record in administration
  • A professional approach
  • Willing to give and receive feedback to improve performance
  • A communication style that will motivate and encourage the team to go the extra mile and deliver happiness
  • An ability to communicate with internal/ external stakeholders in a positive manner
  • Well organised, logical approach to workload with the ability to manage several processes and tasks at the same time and prioritise accordingly
  • Thorough and persistent, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent IT skills, in particular a competent user of Excel
  • Excellent administrative skills and problem solving skills, with a desire for order and to follow procedure
  • Ability to evaluate processes and review to improve efficiency
  • Takes responsibility for own actions and decisions
  • Responds positively to change and willing to try new ideas
  • Takes ownership for their own and the performance of their team
