Some may do but not Motorpoint. We stock over 3,000 cars. These will be a mix of new and nearly new cars.
Motorpoint uses a bespoke in-house part exchange valuation system called ‘Clearprice' which draws data from five industry heavyweights - HPI, Glass's Guide, DVLA, CAP, and the SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders) - to help value your car in seconds. The only information you will need to provide is your registration number and current mileage. And, unlike other dealerships, we are happy to accept all types of part-exchanges.
Motorpoint has been at the forefront of the fight against rip-off Britain, helping to break the monopoly enjoyed by franchised car dealers for many years. Our network of expert buyers, combined with our ability to buy in bulk, enables us to purchase cars at extremely competitive prices, savings which we pass on directly to the customer. In some instances, this can be as much as 50%.
At Motorpoint our turnover is high, so our stock selection is constantly being replenished. We sell some 700 vehicles each week, so stock isn't static for long. Our buying team focus on what is popular right now, and because orders are placed daily, we can adapt to trends quickly, meaning you get to drive the best cars at the best prices.
Yes. We offer test drives on all vehicles in stock. Simply ask one of our sales people to arrange. Just remember to bring your driving licence along when you take the test drive.
Always speak to one of our sales team because it could be that we have an alternative that you might not have considered. Our sales team also have access to pre-build stock lists so it may be that we have the vehicle that you require on order. You will simply need to pay a deposit to secure that vehicle.
Not always although we generally require a minimum deposit of £300 for any vehicle under £10,000 and a minimum deposit of £500 for vehicles over £10,000.
All vehicles come with the balance of the Manufacturers warranty where available. Customers can also buy an additional warranty if necessary.
Customers will need to buy their road tax from Motorpoint for all new cars. If the car is nearly new, you will need to arrange this in advance of collection.
The Government charges a one-off fee of £55 for registering a new vehicle (where applicable).
Please bring your V5 registration document. If you forget you will need to pay a refundable deposit of £500 to Motorpoint and then supply your V5 within 14 days of collection of your new vehicle.
If your registration document/certificate (or the new keeper supplement) has been lost, stolen or destroyed, and you need a replacement. A fee of £25 will be payable to the DVLA. You can apply for a replacement by:

If a vehicle is in stock and all the relevant documentation is in place, you could drive away with your car within two hours. However, we normally ask customers for a period of a couple of days in order to valet a vehicle, fit any extras etc. Our collections department is open Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 6.30pm.
