Your 1st MOT is due 3 years from the date of 1st registration.
This is vehicle/manufacturer dependant. This information can be found from within your service book or on the Service Interval Display from within the car.
Vehicles will be supplied with the balance of the manufacturers warranty. This is manufacturer dependant. Eg. Ford – 3yrs. Toyota – 5 yrs. Kia – 7 yrs etc.
Your V5 can take 4 – 6 weeks to be processed by the DVLA.
Motorpoint guarantee you will be supplied with a service book, handbook and spare key where applicable.

Cars are supplied with the Balance of the Manufacturers Warranty. Please refer to your local dealer. The dealer will access your vehicle details by your registration or chassis number. This will allow the dealer to address the fault accordingly.
A cherished Transfer takes 10 – 14 days.. Upon the DVLA processing the application, you will receive two registration documents. The first for your new car please keep safe. The 2nd for your part exchange. You will need to return your age related registration document to the site from where you collected.
Important: You must ensure you remove Section 9 (Transfer to Trade), sign, complete and return this section to DVLA.
Upon Motorpoint receiving confirmation your Cherished application has been processed, our Registrations Team will send a new set of number plates.
The paperwork for your Extended Guarantee is generated automatically upon your car being invoiced upon collection. You should receive the documentation within 10-14 days.
Upon handing over your part exchange V5c, You must ensure you remove Section 9 (Transfer to Trade), sign, complete and return this section to DVLA. This is the Registered Keepers responsibility. The DVLA will write to you within 30 days to conform you have been removed from the vehicle record.
Your Locking Wheel Nut Key will be located in the Glove Box.
Your car will be supplied with a puncture provision. This can either be a Puncture Repair Kit, Space Saver Wheel or Spare Wheel.
